A message from William Nunez, the director of the forthcoming biopic on Robert Graves:
I am pleased to announce that Poetic Unreason will finally be before the cameras in the spring of 2005 with a release date for fall 2005. It has been a long road in trying to get a cast willing to commit the time that this project will demand as well as arriving at a script that I feel will tell the story most effectively.
I am pleased to tell you that James D'arcy will be playing Robert. He can be seen in Exorcist: The Beginning and and a supporting role in Master and Commander. He is currently shooting An America Haunting with Sissy Spacek and Donald Sutherland. He is an exciting young actor, and I look forward to working with him. Equally talented and young is Nathalie Press who will play Nancy. She is a rising star in the film circles and I am lucky to have her. Francis has been attached to the project for a while and I am grateful to her input. She also has been busy in various projects which should be out in cinemas in the next coming year.
We are lucky to be partnering with a brand new facility in Alicante Spain called Ciudad de la Luz. We will be building most of the sets at that facility: World's End, 35A St. Peter's Square, Nancy's barge etc. We will also be shooting at Canellun in full consultation with William Graves, and the Anuymament of Deya, and then wrap up our shooting in London.
The crews are starting to be formed and the rest of the casting is starting to fill out. Please watch this space for further developments. I hope to entice the actors and key production personnel to share their insights on the making of this special project as the months progress.
