Full information about the Sixth International Robert Graves Conference, "Robert Graves and the Experience of War" and a Call for Papers has been posted at the British Council's Literary Conferences website at: http://literaryconferences.britishcouncil.org/conferences/?p=950.
The conference will be held at the British Council and the British Institute in Paris, (which, incidentally, share a superb period building overlooking the Esplanade des Invalides in Paris,) from 6-10 July, 2004. It will include a visit to the battlefields where Graves, Sassoon and other poets fought during the Great War.
The links from the British Council's page may be followed to submit a proposal for a paper to the conference organisers, register online (with payment via PayPal if desired), or access further information (including a map of the venue) from our own pages here at www.robertgraves.org.
Rates are reasonable and special rates apply for students and other concessions: Register, indicate your interest, or submit a proposal for a paper soon!
Please contact me at pjvilla@aol.com if you have any specific or further enquiries about the conference after looking at the pages above.
Best wishes,
Patrick Villa
Secretary/Treasurer
