Alfred Perceval Graves (184) was born 22 July 1846 and died 1931.  He received an M.A., and was H.M. Inspector of Schools.  He was a poet of acknowledged high standing, and wrote many charming poems and ballads.  He lived in Taunton, England.  He first married Jane Cooper, eldest daughter of James Cooper, Esq., of Cooper Hill, on 29 Dec. 1874.  She died 24 March 1886.  He then married Amalie ("Amy") Elizabeth Sophie (or Sophia) von Ranke,  eldest daughter of Professor Heinrich von Ranke, M.D., of Munich, on 30 Dec. 1891. She was born in 1857 and died 1951.

Philip Perceval ("Eli") Graves (241) was born 25 Feb. 1870, and died 1953.  He was of Harleybury College, and was a journalist.  He married Millicent Gilchrist who died in 1935. He then married Kitty Dewar. While working as a foreign correspondent of The Times in Constantinople, he exposed The Protocols of the Elders of Zion as an antisemitic plagiarism, fraud, and Hoax.

Robert von Ranke Graves (248) was born 24 July 1895 in Wimbledon, London, England, and died 7 Dec. 1985 in Deya, Majorca.  He was Capt. RWF, and was a renowned author and poet.  He first married Annie Mary Prydie ("Nancy") Nicholson, daughter of William Nicholson, the artist, on 23 Jan. 1918 in St. James, Piccadilly.  She was born 13 Sept. 1899 and died in 1977. Nancy refused to change her name on marriage and insisted the girls born of the union keep her surname.  He then married Beryl n e  Prichard, (divorced from  Hodge and who changed her name by deed-pole to Graves  on  25 June 1943), on 12 May 1950, at the British Consulate in Palma. She was born 22 Feb 1915 and died 27 October 2003.

Roger Cooper (276) was born 1935. Writer, businessman. He first married Guity Habibian.  He married second Cherlee ------. While still at Oxford was arrested and shortly jailed in Budapest in 1957 for helping dissidents in the 1956 Hungarian Uprising, and accused of belonging to MI5. Later lived in Tehran and arrested in 1986, accused of espionage, by the Islamic regime. He remained in prison for five years.

Richard Perceval Graves (286) was born in Brighton in 1945. m. Anne Fortescue.  He studied Modern History at St. John s College, Oxford and after teaching for some years at schools including Harrow and Ellesmere College, he became a full-time writer in 1973. He is the author of several biographies, including Lawrence of Arabia and his World (1976); A. E. Housman: The Scholar-Poet (1979); and Richard Hughes (1994). He has also written a 3-volume biography about his uncle, the poet Robert Graves. Since 2000, he has been a partner in Graves Web Services, a website design company, and has co-authored several Beginner guides in Computing.
